Sparkling Lemonade

Today, I’m so excited to share a refreshing and healthy drink that our whole family absolutely loves – my homemade sparkling lemonade. It’s perfect for any season and made with simple, wholesome ingredients, giving you a burst of flavor without any of the artificial stuff you find in store-bought drinks…after all, who wants their kids chugging high fructose corn syrup and Yellow #5 all Summer long?

What makes this sparkling lemonade extra special is the mineral water I use. It adds a crisp, bubbly touch and gives us those essential minerals our bodies need every day. With the tangy zest of fresh lemons and just a hint of honey for natural sweetness, every sip is a reminder of how delicious and beneficial simplicity can be. Whether you’re cooling off on a hot summer day or just want a guilt-free treat, this sparkling lemonade is the perfect healthy drink for you and your family.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2tbsp fresh squeezed lemon
  • 1 Cup sparkling water (San Pellegrino)
  • Honey or Stevia drops

*During Phase 2 of ViCera, substitute Stevia for the honey in this recipe.

 

Directions:

Prepare the Lemon Juice:

  • Squeeze fresh lemons to get 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Make sure to remove any seeds.

Mix the Lemon Juice and Honey:

  • In a glass, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with honey or Stevia drops. Mix well until the honey is fully dissolved. This ensures the sweetness is evenly distributed before adding the cold sparkling water.

Add the Sparkling Water:

  • Slowly pour in 1 cup of sparkling water (San Pellegrino works great). Stir gently to combine.

 

Serving ideas:
